Throughout the year, the Cayo Coco weather experiences high humidity averaging between 75 and 85%.

As in the rest of Cuba, there are two seasons of wet and dry, whereby the wet seasons sees warmer temperatures and higher humidity than those of the dry season.

Although Cayo Coco is only about 20 miles or 30 kilometres from nearby Cayo Guillermo, the weather in both areas is distinct due to the geography, although sea temperatures are a warm 25-30 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
