Mojo Sauce Recipe

Mojo Cubano Sauce
Best eaten the same day but can be stored in the fridge in a sealed bottle

  • 100ml olive oil
  • 150ml sour orange or lime juice (or half of each)
  • 7 garlic cloves, crushed (add more to your taste)
  • sliced onion
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil over a medium heat
  2. Add garlic and cook to release flavour (30 secs)
  3. Put all other ingredients in a bowl
  4. Add oil and let all infuse for 1/2 to 1 hour
  5. When cool remove onion before transferring to serving jug
